I absolutely loved this book. It provides thirty chapters for all kinds of applicable topics to pray for your children about. Stormie shares from her experiences with different situations that she went through with her children for each topic and then provides scripture verses and, what I most enjoyed, a great example of a prayer for your children regarding that topic. Rather than leaving things to chance, you can be very assertive by praying for your children’s future. This book serves as a great resource to flip through at anytime you are dealing with a particular issue and something you’ll pull off the shelf very often. I would also recommend The Power of a Praying Husband, but Power of a Praying Parent seems so crucial to me as you are helping to mold the lives of your children as the grow, through prayer.
